SRX1803265: RNA-Seq of Mycosphaerella fijiensis during association with Musa acuminata: symptomatic banana tissue, replicate 1
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2500) run: 35.1M spots, 4.4G bases, 1.7Gb downloads

Design: RNA was isolated using the Spectrum Plant Total RNA kit (Sigma), and samples were DNase treated using DNase I (Roche). An NEBNext Ultra Directional library prep kit (New England BioLabs) was used to create strand-specific libraries.

Study: Study of Mycosphaerella fijiensis gene expression during association with banana compared to saprophytic growth
show Abstracthide Abstract
Mycosphaerella fijiensis during association with banana (Musa acuminata) versus during saprophytic growth in medium Transcriptome
Sample: Potted Grand Nain banana plants were inoculated with conidia of Mycosphaerella fijiensis isolate 14H1-11A, and symptomatic banana leaf tissue was harvested at 6 weeks post-inoculation and used for transcriptome sequencing.
